208818 I-5/SR 16 West Bound Nalley Valley

KLB Construction is working closely with Guy F. Atkinson and WSDOT to complete the utilities and earthwork on this two and a half year project at the interchange of two of the most congested freeways in Washington. Crews will install over 26,000 LF of storm drainage, import 300,000 tons of gravel borrow and build 28,500 SY of MSE walls. A fleet of KLB’s dump trucks and larger equipment are kept busy with 126,000 CY of Roadway Excavation and 110,000 CY of Pond Excavation. The Westbound Nalley Valley Interchange project will create direct traffic routes from I-5 and Sprague Avenue to Highway 16. The project will be complete in June of 2011.
