210856 - Hoyt Avenue Streetscape Improvement

The Hoyt Avenue Streetscape project is the initial phase of the Downtown Everett Streetscape Plan approved by the Everett City Council in 2008. The project builds on, and connects to, earlier improvements to Colby and Hewitt avenues and advances the goal of implementing street upgrades throughout the downtown core.

Construction began September 7th, 2010. KLB Construction, is the General Contractor. Construction includes the removal of roadways, replacement of sewer and water mains, new roadway surfaces, sidewalks and curbs, and enhancements such as bike lanes, mid-block crossings, decorative lighting, street trees and landscaping.

The project reached substantial completion on May 13th, 2011 with additional minor work elements continuing through the remainder of the month.
